Christopher Lake Public School celebrated the Hundredth Day of School
February 10, 2022, was the Hundredth Day of School. At Christopher Lake Public School, students in Grades 1-3 immersed themselves in everything one-hundred! Counted to 100, subtracted from 100, snacks from 100 years ago, art designs using patterns of 100, and of course … everyone looked like they were 100!
French as a Second Language Education Week February 7-11 – École Vickers Public School
French Immersion students at École Vickers Public School participated in French cultural activities including making music with wooden spoons. The grade 8s learned a new recipe and prepared traditional French crèpes. Many classes took advantage of the mild weather and went skating or snowshoeing. Students also made Métis sash inspired bracelets.
