Pink Day began when two boys chose to take action against bullying behaviour by encouraging their peers to wear pink.
Their actions sparked a world-wide movement shedding light on the issues surrounding bullying and inspiring others to Be Someone’s Hero by speaking up when they see bullying happening.
Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division Schools supported Pink Day with a wide variety of school assemblies, activities, classroom conversations, and rallies to help inspire our youth to be someone’s hero in their school and community. Thank you to all our wonderful staff and students for willing to take a stance against bullying.
