Intended Audience:

Teachers of grade 10-12 courses that are new to the SRPSD or are new to high school (10-12) learning in the SRPSD.

Purpose:

Teachers who are new to teaching grade 10-12 courses will gather to;

·         learn about high school-specific planning, assessment and reporting strategies that align with SRPSD pedagogy,

·         make professional connections within the SRPSD and,

·         have time to compare teaching, assessment, and reporting strategies from elementary and high school learning.

 

Learning Intention:

School teams will have the knowledge, tools, skills, and volition to be highly effective and engaging.

Teachers will use:

·         Edsby; grade book, report card, classes, social feed, river of news, message

·         SRPSD High School Learning Model and the SRPSD High School Learning website.

·         Saskatchewan Ministry of Education curriculum; website, core, basic, and alternative courses

·         Adaptive Dimension

 

Success Criteria:

Teachers will leave the workshop able to use the resources mentioned above.
