Westview Celebrates Family Literacy

Family Literacy Day is January 27, 2018

The Government of Saskatchewan has proclaimed Saturday, January 27, 2018 as Family Literacy Day in Saskatchewan. Family Literacy Day is a national initiative held every year to raise awareness of the importance of reading and engaging in literacy-related activities as a family.  This will be the 20th year Family Literacy Day is proclaimed in Saskatchewan.

PAGC Supports Student Learning

Healthy Relationships in Youth

A huge thank you to the Red Cross for facilitating the Healthy Relationships in Youth training seminar.  Big River Public High School hosted staff and grade 7-12 students from Shellbrook, Riverside, Spiritwood and Big River for 2 days of fantastic training. Generous Alumni Makes $100,000 Donation to Birch Hills Public School

Birch Hills Public School, and the entire Saskatchewan Rivers School Division, are amazed and grateful at the generosity of a Birch Hills School alumni who recently stopped by the school with a check for $100,000. SaskTel Pioneers to Support Literacy!

Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division is excited to receive a wonderful gift from the SaskTel Pioneers to support Literacy!  The SaskTel Pioneers is a volunteer organization of SaskTel employees and recently they donated boxes and boxes of books to SRPSD schools. The Pioneers sourced the books through First Book Canada which is another organization that supports Literacy efforts. 

Saskatchewan’s Bullying Awareness Week Nov 12-18, 2017

The Government of Saskatchewan has proclaimed November 12-18, as Bullying Awareness Week in Saskatchewan.  This year’s theme is Stand Up! (to bullying).
