SRPSD Hosts Fantastic Music Camp!

Summer music camp was a hit! Grades 4-8 SRPSD students from W.J. Berezowsky, Princess Margaret and Vincent Massey schools had the opportunity to participate in a four day SMA Summer Music Camp held at W.J. Berezowsky School in July. SRPSD Students Builds, Paints and Programs an Amazing Project

The Flashback Attack Arcade is an Practical and Applied Arts project started back in September by Taylor Pacholko, a Grade 12 student at Kinistino Public School and involved hundreds of hours of work.  The arcade is completely home made out of MDF wood which was then hand-painted with a handful of old video game mascots

10th Annual Art Show

On Wednesday, May 9, 2018, the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division held their 10th annual Art Show.  Over 100 people attended this annual event showcasing students’ art from across the division.  All students received a Certificate of Appreciation. The bright blue SHSAA Sportsmanship banner hangs at the front entrance of W.P. Sandin as it awaits its place high on the gymnasium wall. Truth and Reconciliation Through Art in SRPSD

A unique learning experience brought the Native Studies 20 class from Debden Public School and students from North West College together.  Under the guidance of lead artist Leah Marie Dorion and Elder and Traditional Knowledge Keeper Gladys Wapass-Greyeyes from Thunderchild First Nation, the students created collaborative murals telling the story of reconciliation within the Treaty
