Schools are open and staff are making the final preparations for another excellent school year. Teachers and staff often begin preparing for the new school year even before the last one finishes, and this week they are putting the finishing touches on the plans for 2021-22. The last few days before students arrive provide opportunities for staff to reconnect with each other, share learning opportunities and finalizes their plans.
Staff spend time working on strategies for literacy achievement in math, writing, reading and other subject areas, reviewing plans for building relationships and engaging students and families.
The first day of classes for Grade 1-12 is Thursday, September 2, 2021, while PreK and Kindergarten classes have a special schedule for start-up. Please contact your SRPSD school for details.
