The unofficial results of the November 9, 2020 School Board Elections have been released. There were many excellent candidates willing to serve the educational needs of our communities by seeking a position on the board of the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division. The Board has 10 positions and these are the members of your community who will be your voice in local governance in education for the next 4 years. Note that some results are not yet confirmed with official results:
Bill Yeaman: Subdivision 1 (Birch Hills, Kinistino and area)
Darlene Rowden: Subdivision 2 (Osborne, St. Louis, East Central, West Central, Redwing and area)
Jaimie Smith-Windsor: Subdivision 3 (Meath Park, Spruce Home, Christopher Lake, Paddockwood, Candle Lake and area)
Cher Bloom: Subdivision 4 (Holbein, Wild Rose, Shellbrook, Parkside and area)
Bill Gerow: Subdivision 5 (Canwood, Debden, Shell Lake, Big River and area)

Thank you to all those who campaigned for a position and to the public who explored the options and cast their vote. The work of the new board officially begins at its organizational meeting on Monday November 16, 2020 at 4:00 in the Education Center (545 11th St. East Prince Albert).
