Saskatchewan Minister of Government Relations and Minister Responsible for First Nations, Metis and Northern Affairs, Lori Carr, officially designated the week of November 11 to 17 to recognize Local Government.
SSBA President Shawn Davidson said, “School boards are locally elected to bring community voice to publicly funded education. Local Government Week helps to highlight the importance of grassroots-level decision-making.”
