The North Central Athletic District is proud to host HOOPLA 2018, the provincial basketball championships on March 22-24 in Prince Albert.  Hoopla involves boys and girls teams from the largest 5A city schools to the smallest 1A rural schools.  It is an extravaganza of energy, excitement and some of the best that our youth have to offer in terms of dedication, athleticism and fair play in sports.  If that’s not enough to excite you, we have two SRPSD teams that will be competing: Carlton Crusader Girls and Birch Hills Marauders Boys!

The CPAC at Carlton Comprehensive Public High School will host games in both the CPAC Gym and the Red Gym while other games will be played at St Mary and at Saskatchewan Polytech gymnasiums.  The full schedule and results are available here:  https://www.shsaa.ca/page/show/3266146-hoopla-2018, so you know exactly when and where to come out and support the local teams and student athletes from across the province.

The Crusader Girls play their first game on Thursday March 22 at 7:45 pm in the CPAC gym and the Birch Hills Marauder boys play their first game on Friday March 23 at 7:45 in Carlton’s Red Gym.  Please join the cheering crowds!
