To acknowledge Education Week this year, T.D. Michel hosted a fun filled week of learning and reflecting opportunities. The week kicked off with a virtual assembly led by Mrs. Bouchard. Classrooms were challenged with questions related to the school and the winning class received a special treat. We also celebrated our bus drivers on Monday and presented them with a gift to thank them for everything they do to get our students to school and home safely every day. On Tuesday, students wrote ‘Smile-O-Grams’ messages for their friends, staff members and bus drivers. The rest of the week, students worked on creating a new school flag, wore hats for recognition of the importance of mental health, and enjoyed a virtual presentation created by our school counsellor. We wrapped up the week with delicious bagels and books.
