Overview:
Join us for an afternoon on the land, connecting with Mother Earth at Little Red River Park. Elder Bente Huntley will guide us on a walk where we identify, discuss and harvest traditional and medicinal plants such as rosehips, bearberry, sage and more. If time permits, we’ll also go to Kristi Lake. The teachings will be shared so that you can dry the plants and medicines and use them throughout the year in your classroom.
There will be a repeat session in the morning on the same day.
