| Overview:
Working alongside subject- alike colleagues, high school teachers will engage in collaborative professional learning conversations focused on strengthening assessment practices and building shared understanding across courses and grade levels. Through professional dialogue and reflection, teachers will discuss effective assessment practices, gradebook planning, and approaches for communicating student learning clearly and meaningfully with students and families. Educators will also explore how assessment practices can support responsive instruction, student growth, and equitable outcomes for learners. This collaborative time will provide opportunities to build common expectations, strengthen instructional decision-making, and support consistency in assessment and communication practices across high school classrooms.
