Understanding the Reference and Regulate (R&R) Program and Deepening our Practice: Part 1 (am): Repeat of June 24/25 Revisiting the heart of the Reference and Regulate (R&R) approach. • What is R&R and understanding the foundation and purpose? • Who is an R&R candidate? • How does the school team begin/continue? • Overview of the stages • Practical exploration and Q&A At its core, R&R is not a program to “fix behavior” but a framework to help students develop the foundational capacities for regulation, attention, and engagement—skills that must be experienced in the context of safe relationships.
