| Overview:
Ideal for new teachers or those new to SRPSD, this session highlights strategies that strengthen students’ literacy skills. Participants will explore the SRPSD Literacy Look-Fors (including Morning Meeting) and learn how to effectively use recommended resources such as Heggerty, UFLI, Dandelion Books for guided reading, and early reading rubrics. Attendance is limited to a maximum of 10 teachers requiring a sub; if a sub is not needed (e.g., for a DC/CSC), participants are welcome to attend. |
