| Overview:
Ideal for early to the profession or new to grade teachers, the majority of this session highlights strategies that strengthen students’ understanding of words, spelling patterns, and morphology. Participants will explore the SRPSD Literacy Look-Fors and learn how to effectively use recommended resources such as UFLI and Bug Club Morphology. The session will also highlight Building Thinking Classrooms strategies that foster engagement, meaningful discussion, and inclusive math practices. Attendance is limited to a maximum of 10 teachers requiring a sub; if a sub is not needed (e.g., for a DC/CSC), participants are welcome to attend. |
