You are invited to a professional learning workshop focused on morphology-the structure and formation of words-and how it strengthens students’ reading, spelling, and vocabulary. This session will focus on using the Bug Club resource to teach word structure in practical, classroom-ready ways. Teachers will explore strategies for helping students work with prefixes, suffixes, and base words to support decoding, spelling, and word meaning. Attendance is limited to a maximum of 10 teachers requiring a sub; if a sub is not needed (e.g., for a DC/CSC), additional participants are welcome to attend. |
