October 17 to 23 is Education Week in Saskatchewan, and the theme this year is Learning for the Future. Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division recognizes the work of our educational professionals and celebrates the learning achievements of our students. Our students’ success would not be possible without the contributions from all members of the education team, including teachers, educational associates, library staff, bus drivers, custodians, education professionals and administrative personnel. Thank you to all SRPSD staff for your commitment to building a brighter future.
October 18, 2021, marks Bus Driver Appreciation Day. SRPSD has an amazing group of people that bring students safely to and from school every day. Bus drivers are valuable and influential adults that our students interact with every day. We appreciate the excellent work they do as professional drivers with significant responsibilities on the roads, but we also value the work they do to help our students grow and mature and become respected citizens in our communities. Please take the opportunity to say thanks to your bus driver every day, but especially on this day that is marked on the calendar to honour our great bus drivers.
