SRPSD SHOWCASE SCHOOL SPIRIT

SRPSD schools showed their school spirit Friday, April 24, 2020.  Ecole Arthur Pechey Public School and WJ Berezowsky Public School held a parade around their neighborhoods.  They had signs, honked their horns and waved hello to the community all while practicing social distancing.

SRPSD supports Pink Day

History of Pink Day Pink Day started in 2007, when a grade nine student in Cambridge, Nova Scotia was bullied by classmates for wearing a pink shirt to school. Taking notice, two students rallied their peers to send a message to the bullies. The next day, the halls were filled with students in pink T-shirts.
