Recently Westview Public School hosted a Family Literacy Evening where staff, students and families joined together to celebrate literacy.  Participants enjoyed a delicious chili supper and had fun learning at 12 literacy stations with hands on activities for parents and children to do together. Families were engaged in storytelling, twister spelling,  making sock puppets, creating family mementos and other fun literacy activities.  The evening was a great family-friendly event that Westview is famous for hosting!
