Queen Mary Public School holds another successful Can-a-Thon in conjunction with Thanksgiving. Classrooms at Queen Mary challenge other classrooms in an attempt to collect the most food items for the Food Bank. This year the grade 4’s in Mrs. Lepage’s room collected over 200 items. An honorable mention goes to Ms. Rosevelt’s room with 179 items. In total, on Friday, October 13, 2017, the school donated 1571 non-perishable food items; that is 760.4 lbs of food given to the Food Bank! Way to go, students!!
