Physics 30 students from Birch Hills Public School and Carlton Comprehensive Public School have been working collaboratively on the concepts of modern physics. Students have been utilizing Google Hangout, a video conferencing tool, to work together on understanding concepts that include Length Contraction, Particle Accelerators, Hadron Collider, Black Holes and Gravitational Waves. Along with understanding these important Physics concepts, students are also developing skills in effective communication, critical and creative thinking, collaboration and an online connectedness that will serve them well as learners and in life. Kudo’s to Janelle Morrison and Jenna Cross for taking a risk and facilitating such a great learning experience for our students.
