| Overview:
 Join us for a day on the land, connecting with Mother Earth at Kristi Lake and Little Red River Park. Elder Bente Huntley will guide us on a walk where we identify, discuss and harvest traditional and medicinal plants such as rosehips, bearberry, sage and more. The teachings will be shared along with a demonstration of how to dry the plants and medicines and use them throughout the year in your classroom.  |
