| Purpose:
Professional development for educational assistants is essential for growth and effectiveness in supporting students and educators in school settings.
Learning Intentions: Topics will be determined but will be responsive to need and may include: behaviour intervention techniques, effective communication skills, play, sensory/regulation strategies, or trauma-informed practices.
Criteria: EAs will have the opportunity to add to their strategy tool kit, in order to recognize and respond to the unique needs of the students they work with.
