Ashlyn Scriven is in Grade 12 at Meath Park Public School and has been practicing archery for approximately eight years.  She started off in the Northern Spirits 4H club in the Archery Program.  She initially shot a barebow and then in the second year of 4H switched to a compound bow.  After deciding that she really enjoyed the sport, during that second year she also joined the Timberland Bowbenders Archery club in Prince Albert.  Ashlyn excelled quickly and joined the High Performance team and, as they say, the rest is history.

Over the last 5 years she has won over 25 medals at provincial, national and North American events and even set a Canadian record in 2014! Ashlyn has dedicated herself to the sport of archery and her hard work has paid off – she has earned a spot in the 2018 Indoor World Archery Championship being held February 13th – 20th in Yankton, South Dakota!
