École Arthur Pechey Public School celebrated Family Literacy Week virtually from January 25th – January 28th. Families had the opportunity to create Mad Libs, song parodies, sketch their own cartoons and write to a pen pal of their choice! Families could connect to Google Classroom or request paper copies of so many activities, making literacy a family fun event all week long. The fun and learning did not stop there! Every family that participated in the activities had the opportunity to win some great prizes. Families had their names entered into a draw to win board games, journals, activity books and more! A shout-out to all of the students, parents and guardians, school staff and the AP community for all of the support and engagement as we celebrated literacy virtually this year!
