The Financial Services Department, under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, operates under Board and Accounting policies to provide financial leadership and management services for the Board, other school division departments and schools within the division.

The main functions of the department include accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, auditing, budgeting, managing the school division’s Charities Fund, and risk management services for the school division.

A staff of seven personnel is assigned to the department located in the Education Centre, 545 – 11th Street East in the City of Prince Albert.
