City Recommends to Refrain from Visiting Playground Structures

The City of Prince Albert supports the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s (SHA) direction in regards to social distancing and, in cooperation with the Saskatchewan Rivers School Division and Prince Albert Catholic School Division, continue to work on implementing protective measures to limit the possible transmission of COVID-19.

The City of Prince Albert highly recommends residents refrain from visiting public playground structures at this time. The surface of play structures are high touch areas and can be dirty and full of germs.

Fresh air and sunshine support positive mental health. We encourage residents to get outside and be active while maintaining a safe distance in public outdoor areas.

Refer to the SHA website for all information related to COVID-19 and the City of Prince Albert’s COVID-19 webpage for city updates.
