Many SRPSD schools joined others across the province to raise money for Telemiracle 2019. École Debden Public School was inspiring as its student body raised money Family Bingo Night. It was an exciting event with a great turn out! Money was brought in from bingo card sales, prize table, 50/50 draw and silent auction. The grand total was $2,630.65! As an added bonus, École Debden Public School student, Sonora Amundson performed on the live show and was able to present the donation in person, just before her performance.
Telemiracle contributions enable the Kinsmen Foundation to fund out-of-province hospital trips, scooters for those confined to their homes, handi-vans to allow group home residents to attend community events, and travel and accommodation for those driving to the city for cancer treatments or dialysis.
