Saskatchewan Rivers Public School division is consistently proud of its students, staff and families who make our community a better place to live, work and grow.  We are especially proud to have the opportunity to celebrate one of our own staff members who has been recognized for her work in the community.  Dr. Shelley Storey has been a teacher, administrator and is currently the division’s Education Representative at CMPA.  Her community development efforts will be formally recognized when she will be inducted into the Women’s Hall of Fame at a ceremony in early March.

Dr. Storey has been a strong advocate for students and families, and has also been a leader on many projects in the wider community.  Shelley has been involved with a great number of activates and programs aimed at improving the lives of those in our community, especially those more vulnerable students and families.  Recently she was instrumental in establishing the Hunters with Heart program in support of the food bank,  initiating a program that focused on improving student attendance and achievement, and supporting the Community Alcohol Strategy.  These are just a few of the many ways that Dr. Storey has been supporting the city and beyond.

Please join the division as we thank Shelley for her work in our community and celebrate her induction into the Women’s Hall of Fame.
