Facilities Department
The Facilities Department supports safe, clean, accessible, and well-maintained learning environments throughout Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division.
The department is responsible for the planning, operation, maintenance, and renewal of Division-owned schools, support buildings, and grounds. Facilities staff work closely with school administrators, caretaking staff, contractors and community partners to ensure our buildings support student learning and the needs of the communities we serve.
Our Responsibilities
The Facilities Department oversees:
· Building maintenance and repair services
· Preventative maintenance and building systems
· Caretaking services and cleaning standards
· Capital planning and facility renewal
· Construction and renovation projects
· Building condition assessments and asset management
· Facility safety, security and regulatory compliance
· Fire protection and emergency building systems
· Accessibility improvements and barrier removal
· Grounds, playgrounds and exterior infrastructure
· Utility management and energy conservation
· Insurance claims involving Division facilities
