Parents of children who will be 5 years old by December 31, 2012, have a number of options regarding the best kind of Kindergarten programming for their child. Parents may choose the language of instruction for their child, either English or French Immersion, and the type of programming that best suits their lifestyle. French Immersion programming is available at École Vickers School and Debden School. Parents living in the City of Prince Albert have an option of choosing full day-alternate day programming for their child or half day-every day programming.

Principals are available to answer questions about their school, the programs, and special services.

Free transportation is provided for those students who:

• attend rural schools;
• attend an out-of-neighbourhood school for French Immersion programming within city limits.
